Pink has joined a string of high profile celebrities who have come out to defend Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in the wake of their recent ‘private jet’ scandal.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex – who have been very vocal about climate change in the past – were attacked online when it was revealed the couple (and their son baby Archie) took a private jet to Nice, to stay at friend Elton John’s mansion.
The couple suffered such fierce backlash that Sir Elton John himself took to social media to protect Meghan and Harry, stating that he had organised a carbon-neutral flight for the couple’s journey.

TV talk show host Ellen Degeneres later jumped to the defence of the Sussexes, writing on Instagram: “Portia and I met Prince Harry and Meghan in England to talk about their work on wildlife conservation. They were the most down-to-earth, compassionate people. Imagine being attacked for everything you do, when all you’re trying to do is make the world better.”
Now it’s Pink’s turn to come to the royal couple’s aid, calling out the ‘bullying’ in a lengthy tweet.
“I’m happy to see people coming to the defense of The Duke and Duchess of Sussex,” the three-time Grammy winner, 39, tweeted on Monday.
“The way people treat her is the most public form of bullying I have seen in a while. It’s out of control.
“Let’s all be a bit kinder, huh? Let’s show our children that it’s cool to be kind.”
Next month, the family will take off on a long-haul flight to Africa for Archie’s first official overseas visit.
