The former Home And Away star took to her social media to post a racy pic in an olive green bikini, and her followers have claimed the picture is ‘inconsiderate’ and ‘tasteless.’
It was the 34-year-old star’s jewellery that caught the attention of fans.
Pia wore a cross necklace, and many deemed it to be inappropriate.
‘You look absolutely beautiful, Pia, but I must say it is a bit inconsiderate/tasteless to wear a holy symbol in a bikini shot. Wish a lot of blessings to you and your family,’ one comment read.
‘Showing a cross in a photo is maybe not the best example to young girls especially,’ another read.
Pia responded by writing: ‘My grandmother left it for me and it never comes off.’
Many fans were quick to defend the actress.
‘I think you look absolutely stunning an beautiful, i would not listen to negative vibes,’ one wrote, with another adding, ‘Thank you for being so comfortable and proud of your body.’
