So fans of the Academy Award-winner were pleasantly surprised to see Nicole enjoying a rare day out with husband Keith Urban and their daughters Sunday Rose, 10, and Faith Margaret, 8 on January 27.
The famous family was spotted outside a church in Sydney with mum Nicole looking typically elegant in a black high neck dress with flowing elbow-skimming sleeves.
The Big Little Lies star wore her hair in a chic slicked back knot, shielding her eyes from the hot summer sun with a pair of over-sized sunglasses.
She carried a dainty black handbag while placing a protective arm around her youngest child.
Faith and sister Sunday sported floral dresses in pink and yellow hues with their hair tied back in neat ponytails.
The rare sighting coincides with Kidman’s red carpet appearance at the Sydney premiere of her latest film Destroyer at St George’s Open Air Cinema last night.
Speaking to Daily Mail Australia, Nicole revealed her daughters would not be watching the new release just yet because of it’s R rating.
