Nicole and Keith’s family announcement: Our baby joy!

The Aussie couple's fabulous news.

Parents Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban have spilled some news as friends reveal to New Idea the pair can’t wait to have another baby!

And with the couple posting a picture of them lovingly holding a baby last week, the world is wondering if they have a special announcement looming.

‘Nicole and Keith are broodier than ever, all they do is talk about having another baby – it’s insane!’ says a friend of the couple. ‘They’ve both made no secret of their desire to have another bub – especially Nicole – and those feelings are just getting stronger and stronger as time goes on.’

According to the source, with Sunday, 10, and Faith, seven, growing up and not little girls anymore, Keith and Nicole really miss having a baby or a toddler in the house.

They’ve always dreamed of having a house full of children, and they’re feeling that more than ever at the moment.

‘When they were reminiscing about Sunday’s 10th birthday recently, they started talking again about exploring options to have another baby. They’re open to anything and everything at this point, but just know that they’d love another baby.’

The friend says the pair still feel so young and energetic, and they know that Sunday and Faith would love to be big sisters to a new little bub, hopefully a boy. With Nicole working with twin boys on Big Little Lies, the actress is said to be keen to add to her family.

‘Having baby number three would be a dream come true for Keith and Nicole.’ Nicole has made no secret of wanting more children in the past, admitting that every month she would ‘hope to be pregnant’.

‘I still have the faintest hope that something may happen to me this year,’ she recently revealed to the Mail On Sunday.

‘Keith and I would love to have more babies. My grandmother gave birth to my mother at 49. I would be beyond happy and just welcome it with open arms.’

For Nicole, being a mother gives her the most fulfilling purpose in her life.

‘I suppose my maternal instincts and drive has always been there since I was little… and that’s a huge driving force of who I am, which is why I probably played it out in so many different ways. I am a mother because I love being a mother,’ Nicole previously said.

‘Children keep you young,’ she told Magic FM. ‘There’s something true about their life force. They keep you engaged and they bring joy.’

Keith has also raved about Nicole’s maternal abilities. ‘She’s an extraordinary mum,’ Keith, 50, gushed to One Country.

‘Those girls are very, very lucky. Her attention to honouring their feelings and listening to them right from day one is really beautiful to see.’

For Nicole, her children really are her world to her.

‘There’s no better way of getting over a tough day than walking through the door and being brought back to earth by the demands of your family,’ she has said. ‘While I’m thinking: “God, I feel like I can’t even go on,” I have two little girls standing there, asking: “What’s for breakfast?” That is a gift for me.’

Now her girls are getting older, seeing them less and less gets harder for Nicole.

‘I miss them so much,’ she told Harpers Bazaar. ‘I get 3am panics because I’m so attached!’
