They’ve always had one of the strongest relationships in Hollywood but New Idea has learned Keith Urban’s feeling increasingly concerned by Nicole Kidman’s growing friendship with her latest leading man.
Currently filming her new HBO series The Undoing in New York, Nicole’s reportedly struck up a close relationship with her co-star Hugh Grant, a source reveals.

“Nicole’s been leaning on Hugh for support over the last few weeks and he’s been her rock amid various problems she’s faced while being apart from husband, Keith, so it’s understandable they’ve grown close,” explains the insider.
The British actor has offered Nicole support amid reports she’s become increasingly pushed out of her older children’s lives.
Last week it was reported that Nicole has been banned from attending her son and devout Scientologist Connor Cruise’s upcoming wedding to fellow believer, Silvia Zanchi.
Meanwhile, her daughter Isabella has all but confirmed how entrenched she now is in the controversial religion by lending her name to a Scientology ad in which she admits to being largely unhappy until the church provided her with the “missing piece”.
Privately Nicole has always been hopeful that her two children would move away from Scientology as they became adults.
But in an interview with WHO last November Nicole admitted, “they are able to make their own decisions” and that, “it’s my job to love them”.
Since her 2001 divorce from Tom Cruise, Nicole’s interaction with Connor, 24, and Isabella, 26, has been limited with reports that as a non-Scientologist,
she’s considered a “suppressive person” by the church.
Nicole has remained characteristically silent about this latest slight and has busied herself working on her latest production.
But while she’s enjoying the distraction of working alongside Hugh, 58, her husband is understandably concerned.
“Keith’s been upset by Nicole’s growing closeness to Hugh and while he knows she would never cheat on him, he feels that she might have crossed a line by striking up such a close bond with Hugh.
“But while he finds their emotional involvement upsetting, Nicole has reassured Keith there is nothing to it,” says the source.
According to New Idea’s source, Nicole has “fiercely denied” the false accusations, adding, the actress was “heartbroken that Keith would accuse her of betraying his trust and disrespecting him by crossing a line”.
But if Nicole’s recent Instagram posting is anything to go by, it appears the couple are back on track.
Last week she posted a selfie of her and Keith on a date night, smiling while at a theatre performance.
