Meghan Markle’s best friend Jessica Mulroney has posted a cryptic message following the Duchess’ lavish baby shower in New York City.
The Canadian stylist took to Instagram to share the quote by author Tyler Knott.
“It’s exhausting being strong, let no one tell you otherwise.
“There are a million ways to heal, every single one will wear you down.
“Keep your capacity for joy. Guard it with the rest of your life.”
The quote was posted with a simple messaging, saying: “Guard your joy”.
Amal Clooney and Jessica Mulroney were among the guests who made an appearance at Meghan’s lavish baby shower held at the five-star Mark Hotel in snowy New York City on Wednesday.
Abigail Spencer, who starred in the US drama Suits with Meghan, was also spotted arriving at the hotel.
Other celebrities attending include harpist Erin Hill, fashion designer Misha Nonoo and television presenter Gayle King, all close friends of the 37-year-old Duchess.
A report claims that the lavish affair cost $300,000 and took place in a $75,000-a-night penthouse at a swanky Manhattan hotel.
It is claimed that Meghan will have a UK baby shower when she returns.
