There’s a lot of drama that doesn’t make the final edit on Married at First Sight.

A behind-the-scenes source on the Channel Nine show tells New Idea one groom in particular had an off-camera meltdown.
At the second commitment ceremony, it appears Mikey Pembroke, 29, had a huge tantrum that never made it to air.
“He went bananas at Natasha and the experts and threw his ring into the air before storming off,” an insider tells New Idea.
“He got his own hotel room permanently after that.”
Mikey’s bride Natasha Spencer says the pressure of 15-hour filming days and producers saying her parents weren’t able to visit her, eventually pushed her over the edge too.
Meanwhile, in a video obtained by New Idea, Mikey confirmed he was unfairly booted off the show and has blamed the experts for matching the pair in the first place.
“I don’t know how I can be kicked off the show when I haven’t done anything wrong,” he says in the 12-second clip.
“I’ve given myself 100 per cent to the experiment … they think she’s not well. Well, it’s like they’ve f–king given me the wrong person. Such a stitch-up.”
