A lot can happen in a week, especially if you’re a Married At First Sight graduate!
And now Dan Webb has spoken out about that video featuring his then-girlfriend Jessika Power and season five MAFS star Telv Williams sipping champagne on a couch at 3am, and talking about breasts.
The video, which was taken back in December, surfaced after Telv claimed he’d hooked-up with Jess on the night, a claim Jess has strenuously denied.
Dan thanked his fans via Instagram stories on Wednesday. “Thank you everyone for your positive feedback I’m truly okay and I’m well and truly moved on and excited for things to come. Love you all (haters or not) you all give me good spirit,” he wrote.
He also quoted himself in a post, featuring a paparazzi shot taken at an airport.
“Things won’t always turn out the way that you have planned and envisioned and that is OK, it all has a purpose though,” the car salesman-turned-aspiring club host began his philosophical message.
“Don’t let yourself get caught up in a ‘this isn’t fair’ mentality. Of course it’s OK to be disappointed, frustrated and upset, but don’t let those feelings take you off course, and stop you from seeing what is really going on. Feelings of disappointment won’t and don’t last. Don’t let a few moments of disappointment stop you from a lifetime of becoming the best version of yourself (it will if you let it). Centre yourself, dust yourself off and try again.”
His Survivor Australia star brother, Sam Webb, threw his brother support, commenting, “Everything happens for a reason bro.”
