After their successful vow renewal ceremony this week on Married At First Sight, it seems as though Simon and Alene are on their way to happily ever after.
Now Alene, 31, has opened up about her man’s past, which may come as a surprise to fans of the 37-year-old who has had trouble expressing himself throughout his MAFS journey.
Alene revealed to The Fix that Simon had dabbled in Shakespearean plays.
“He did drama in school! I was like you did theatre?? He actually has a crafty side,” the Sydney nurse explained.
“I think he played Juliet in a school play. All I know is that he had to go buy some bras and fill them up with something so it looked like he had boobs!”
Speaking of drama, Alene also opened up about staying right away from it during the show.
“As soon as I was told we’d all be living in one apartment building, I thought to myself: drama, drama, drama,” she said.
“When I met Simon straight out I was like, I’m happy to lightly socialise with the other castmates, but I’m here to find love and I only have 6-8 weeks. I’m here to work on a relationship with you.”
