He stirred up controversy on Ali Oetjen’s ill fated season of The Bachelorette, and true to form Paddy Colliar was the centre of attention for all the wrong reasons on Bachelor in Paradise before his early exit last week.
Aside from the outrage he caused with his “gross” reaction to Alex Nation and Brooke Blurton‘s same-sex date, the 28-year-old gym manager embarked on a disastrous 24-hour romance with Alisha Aitken-Radburn which ended with her blasting him for being fame hungry and only wanting “more airtime”.
This morning, Paddy hit back at the Labour staffer’s claims during a chat with Mike & Gia, Central West’s Hit105.9 breakfast duo.

Paddy insisted he was there for the right reasons and genuinely wanted to find love, before sensationally revealing 26-year-old Alisha had “slid into his DMs” two days ago.
“There’s always two sides to every story.
“She wouldn’t have slid into my DMs two days ago telling me we looked cute,” Paddy told the show.
“She messaged me two days ago and sent me the video of us kissing – it doesn’t make sense to me why she’d put whatever she has out on Daily Mail or whatever.”
Paddy also said while he doesn’t blame strategic editing for his negative portrayal, he does feel producers left out important scenes which would have shown viewers a different side to him.
Following his revelations, Gia wondered if Alisha was the one wanting more airtime to further her aspiring political career.
