The Project’s Lisa Wilkinson was left lost for words after her co-hosts mocked her for “snubbing” Karl Stefanovic’s lavish wedding to shoe designer Jasmine Yarbrough.
While interviewing with an Antarctic electrician, also named Lisa Wilkinson, panellist Peter Helliar took the conversation in a more personal direction.
“You didn’t happen to receive an invite for Karl Stefanovic’s wedding, did you?” he asked via video chat with their guest.
The camera cut to an incredibly red-faced Lisa.
“One got lost in the mail and we’re trying to work out where it has gone to,” Peter continued.
Lisa then physically turned in her chair to hide her embarrassment.
The guest then revealed this isn’t the first time she has found herself in the middle of Lisa and Karl’s drama due to her celebrity name.
“You think there’s trouble now, at the time of the Lisa Wilkinson stuff I was getting [stuff in] my inbox every day,” the guest then responded.
It is believed she was referencing when Lisa sensationally quit Nine’s Today show in 2017, after years working alongside Karl.
Earlier this year, New Idea revealed that Lisa had been snubbed from Karl’s guest list for the Mexico affair because he “knew The Project star wouldn’t show up” even if she were invited.
