It’s been over a month since Liam Hemsworth confirmed his split from Miley Cyrus.
While the actor is staying silent about the breakup, he has been seen out and about in Australia with his brother Chris Hemsworth.
Recently, Liam and Chris enjoyed a beach getaway with family and friends at Makepeace Island in Noosa, Queensland.

On Instagram, Chris shared photos of the group of seven at the private retreat – which is a luxury island on the Sunshine Coast.
“Another little hidden gem in @australia Thanks for the hospitality @makepeaceisland !! @elsapatakyconfidential @liamhemsworth @lukemun @aprilmun @leiselj8 @azzagrist” the Aussie wrote in the caption.
In one photo, the 36-year-old jokingly stepped on his brother Liam’s head, while in another, the Aussie brothers smiled for a selfie by the Noosa River.
Chris’s wife Elsa Pataky also posted several videos on her Instagram Story where the group can be seen relaxing and hanging out with the group.
The 43-year-old also included a hilarious video of Chris dancing by the pool while Liam flexed his muscles for the camera.
In August, Chris and Elsa – who moved from Los Angeles to live in a mansion in Byron Bay, Australia – reportedly hit their own rough patch after a source told Life & Style that the Thor star had broken a promise to take a year off work to spend more time with the family.
Even the Marvel actor was said to be aware that their kids India, 7 and twins Tristan and Sasha are noticing his absences.
“He’s promised to make it up to them with a family vacation but there is still a lot of tension between him and Elsa at the moment,” the source added.
However, a family vacation seemed to have done the trick, as the couple were all smiles on their Gold Coast getaway.
As for Chris’s brother Liam, the Australian holiday at Makepeace Island seems to be a perfect way to heal from his split with his wife of eight months, Miley Cyrus.
Miley has already begun a romance with new girlfriend Kaitlynn Carter (Brody Jenner‘s ex) and was spotted kissing her just days after confirming her split with the Hunger Games actor.
