Kylie Minogue and Jason Donovan have celebrated the 30th anniversary of Especially For You with touching tributes.
Kylie shared a picture of herself alongside Jason in 1988, as well as a video of the pair performing in Hyde Park earlier this year.
She wrote: “Especially For You is 30!!!???”
“I’ve been singing this on the Golden Tour and it’s such a fun, memory-filled singalong for everyone on and off stage.
“When Jason Donovan surprised everyone and joined me onstage at BBC Radio 2 [in] Hyde Park a couple of months ago, it was pure magic. Happy Birthday to the song that still means so much to so many. Thanks!”
Before embarking on their singing career, both Kylie and Jason were fan favourites in Australian soap opera Neighbours.
Their on-screen characters’ marriage in 1987 was Neighbours’ most watched episode of all time.
