Shock jock Kyle Sandilands has been notably absent from the Kyle & Jackie O show for two days, following the KIIS show’s ratings slump in the latest survey.
On Tuesday, WSFM’s Brendan ‘Jonesy’ Jones and Amanda Keller beat KIIS FM’s Sandilands and Jackie O Henderson for the top spot.
This marks the first time the duo’s ratings have slumped in three years.
This morning, Jackie O Henderson told listeners that no one could locate Sandilands.
Stand-in Beau Ryan said he had been texting the shock jock overnight though.
‘I don’t know what Kyle is doing,’ Ryan added.
The latest radio ratings survey, the fifth this year, recorded that Sandilands and Henderson’s KIIS FM show dropped 1.7 percentage points to an overall share of 9.3 per cent. Jonesy and Amanda scored 10.3 per cent to take the coveted top spot.
