Kyle Sandilands’ girlfriend Imogen Anthony has been busy strutting it down the runway at New Zealand Fashion Week.
But, the 27-year-old model took the time out of her busy schedule to defend her beau after he went ‘missing’ following an embarrassing ratings slump.
Sharing screenshots of the couple’s text messages, she revealed Kyle was simply at home with a fever.
Imogen shared another image of their exchange, showing Kyle’s response telling her he was still feeling sick.
In the caption of the post she wrote: ‘[He] gets up at 4:45am every damn morning – I see that man work his a** off and then be so tired he can’t even watch a full TV show at night.’
‘Don’t you f***ing dare (said in THE most SINISTER voice),’ she added in one of the images.
The model also addressed the Kyle And Jackie O Show’s ratings slump, following the recent radio survey.
‘Yep, @kiis1065 was beaten by WSFM who is owned by the same company…’, she wrote.
‘Think about…It’s called ‘sharing’,’ she added with a winking face emoji.
This week, Kyle called in sick to work two days in a row, leaving former Footy star Beau Ryan to fill in for him.
While on air, Jackie admitted: ‘Nobody knows where he is,’ prompting many to believe the drop in ratings had caused an ’embarrassed’ Kyle into hiding.
Later, Kyle took to Instagram to poke fun at the ‘MIA’ reports.
‘BREAKING: Kyle has set a new world record as the FIRST EVER radio broadcaster to host a show whilst reported missing! 😂👏📰 #KJshow,’ the Instagram caption jokingly read.
Earlier in the week, Imogen attend New Zealand Fashion Week and strutted down the runway in a long sleeved swimsuit for label Heaven Swimwear.
