Khloe Kardashian may have just had the baby shower of our dreams but it hasn’t all been plain sailing for the reality star.
In fact, Khloe had to make an emergency dash to the hospital that has left her badly shaken, according to a report by US OK! magazine today.
‘Word is she suffered some pregnancy complications and had to be rushed to Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles,’ an insider revealed to the publication. ‘Everyone was worried she’d need an emergency C-section.’
According to the magazine, Khloe has been trying to lay low and take it easy in the run-up to delivering her first baby with boyfriend Tristan Thompson. But, she did manage to squeeze in a trip to Japan during the eighth month of her pregnancy.
Khloe insisted that the trip was approved by her doctor, but now she is wondering if it could have contributed to her early delivery scare, according to US OK.
‘Khloe took all the necessary precautions with her trip, but now of course she’s wondering if it contributed to an unnecessary scare,’ a second source revealed.
She was lucky, they said, ‘to have her entire family by her side. But now her plans to give birth in Cleveland’ – where Tristan plays basketball for the Cavaliers- ‘are up in the air.’
‘She’s anxious about flying again and being so far from her family. This experience made her realise she needs her support system nearby.’
According to the publication Khloe and Tristan had a huge argument following her hospital stay.
‘She was emotional about him not being there,’ explained an insider. ‘It got pretty heated.’
What’s more, the publication reveals that Khloe’s ex-husband Lamar Odam made an unwelcome visit to the hospital.
A source revealed that Lamar has been feeling sentimental about their love. ‘He probably just wanted to be there for her like she was for him when he had a health crisis.’
Khloe has since returned to regular life but according to the publication, her hospital dash has left her rattled.
‘She can’t wait to just hold her baby girl in her arms and know that she’s safe,’ said a source.
Khloe has yet to respond to OK‘s report.
