For years, Nicole Kidman struggled with a secret ailment that nearly destroyed her life: she was legally blind.
A source reportedly told Star magazine that the actress was ‘putting herself at terrible risk’ due to her ailment, ‘especially on sets.’
Star also learnt that it was the Oscar winner’s husband of 12 years, Keith Urban, who finally forced her to get the help she needed.
‘Keith had been begging her years to get herself looked at and she always waved him away,’ says the insider, explaining that the country crooner go so fed up with Nic’s excuses that he gave her an ultimatum.
‘He told her to get LASIK surgery or he’d be afraid to leave her with the kids!’ a source explosively tells.
According to Star, Keith drove Nicole to the doctors and ‘held her hand’, noting that afterward, the actress admitted her husband was right and she should have gotten the laser procedure years ago.
