Keith Urban may have put his relationship to Nicole Kidman in jeopardy by telling a not so little lie about his mystery lady friend.
The crooner was recently shopping with a female friend in New Jersey when retired schoolteacher Ruth Reed offered to foot the 50-year-old’s bill when she saw he was short of change.
However, when Keith – who has an estimated net worth of $75 million – revealed his star status, Ruth was gobsmacked.
‘I didn’t believe him at first,’ she told In Touch. ‘I asked where Nicole was and who was the lady with him,’ recalls Ruth, who bagged a snap and shared it to Facebook.
‘He told me she was his sister.’ But Keith doesn’t have a sister!
‘If Nicole found out Keith lied to her about another woman, she’d be furious,’ a source spilled.
