There will never be a Baby like Jennifer Grey, however the Dirty Dancing actress has revealed who she would like to reprise the film’s classic roles.
The actress, who starred alongside the late Patrick Swayze, recently told an American radio station she’d pick Natalie Portman to play her if she were given the opportunity these days.
As for Johnny, Jennifer’s on-screen love interest, the 56-year-old said she’d love either Ryan Gosling or Channing Tatum to pick up the part. No surprises there, Jen.
‘Well, The Gos has just got something, know what I mean? He’s just got something. He’s that very mysterious…he’s Canadian,’ she explained. ‘But he’s just got that very non-Jewish thing. He’s just go that crazy thing. You look at him and you go “Oh God”…what would that be like?
‘And that’s all you need the guy to do. And you know he’s a great dancer.’
