While Jennifer Aniston has been reconnecting with her old flame Brad Pitt, the Friends star has also found herself enjoying a blossoming new friendship with his daughter Shiloh Jolie-Pitt.

As Hollywood’s golden couple’s relationship deepens and they spend more and more time together, 11-year-old Shiloh has found herself won over by Jen’s fun and loving personality.

‘Shiloh has been spending a lot of time with Jen in recent weeks and they really have developed a very special bond now,’ a source tells New Idea.

‘Brad loves seeing how close they have become – always laughing and smiling, and Shiloh has become the closest to Jen out of all of Brad’s kids.’

‘Shiloh even asked Brad if she could call Jen “Mummy”,’ says the source. ‘They’ve been spending so much time together and been bonding, it felt like a natural next step for Shiloh.’

Adds a source close to Ange: ‘Ange was fuming when Brad dropped in what Shiloh had said. This is her worst nightmare.

While Brad and his ex-wife remain at loggerheads over the custody of their six children – with the couple granted a private court hearing after temporarily agreeing to Ange retaining custody while Brad had visitation rights – Shiloh has remained steadfast in support for her dad.

‘The truth is Shiloh really loves her mum. She loves both her parents. But right now, she wants to spend more time with her dad,’ a source recently told New Idea. ‘She feels bad that he’s all alone, and would love to live with him for a while.’

And while he may have to face Ange’s wrath down the line, Brad feels it’s worth it to have a second chance with Jen.

‘Brad loves the three of them being together as much as Shiloh does,’ says the source.

‘Finding his way back to Jen and seeing her love his children really warms his heart.’
