Home and Away is arguably Australia’s best loved and longest running soaps.
From adulterous affairs to tragic deaths, the series has seen it all (and more) since the first episode aired on Channel 7 in January 1988.
Many of the cast have come and gone from the iconic staple, but filming in Summer Bay seems to have the same effect on every actor who steps on set there.
Home and Away co-stars are famously close with many becoming best friends off-screen, and some even embarking on real life romances.

The girls’ happy smiles indicate these thespians are evidently great friends when cameras stop rolling!
Olivia Deeble and Emily Symons
Emily (Marilyn Chambers) was once a mother figure to Olivia (Raffy Morrison) on Home and Away, but it’s clear the pair are just as close off-screen.
Olivia, 16 – who is set to leave Summer Bay to take up the role of Princess Roxana in the upcoming Disney+ feature film Secret Society of Second Born Royals – shared this stunning shot from a lunch with Emily back in April.

James Stewart and Sarah Roberts
Home and Away’s real-life couple James (Justin Morgan) and Sarah (Willow Harris) started dating back in 2017 but the lovebirds look more besotted with one another than ever.
The pair announced their engagement last December, after James got down on one knee at their favourite restaurant.
James recalled to New Idea consulting with friends as to how he should pop the question: “Some good friends said, ‘keep it simple’. So, I was sitting in this Italian restaurant and I was sweating, but I kept it simple – which made it more real.”
The tall, dark and handsome star shared this heartwarming shot with fiancée Sarah and his daughter Scout with ex partner Jessica Marais, simply captioning the photo: “My girls.”
Sam Frost and Sarah Roberts
Sam (Jasmine Delaney) and Sarah (Willow Harris) are thick as thieves even when they’re hundreds of miles from Summer Bay.
Former Bachelorette Sam took to Instagram last weekend to share a gorgeous selfie from Melbourne Fashion Week with co-star Sarah.
