Dr Chris Brown revealed on Monday night’s episode of Have You Been Paying Attention? that he is now single after splitting up with Kendall Bora, who he was with for two years.
The 40-year-old vet and television personality is notoriously private about his personal life but appeared to slip up when he revealed his new relationship status. On HYBPA, Chris was engaging in a light-hearted conversation with contestant Ed Kavalee when he joked about being “40, still single [and] with no children.”
Radio presenter Sam Pang addressed the joke asking, “Why are you single?”
After freezing for a moment, Chris responds, “Sam, it’s a very good question.”
Following Sophie Monk and Nick Cummins appearing on The Bachelorette and The Bachelor respectively, comedian Celia Pacquola asked Chris, “Would you do The Bachelor?”
The studio audience clapped and cheered in response but Chris was less eager and said, “Let’s not start with that.”
Chris and Kendall begun dating in mid-2016 but not much is known about their relationship. In February of this year, Chris told TV Week that he rarely discussed his relationship due to wanting to keep his private life out of the headlines, saying, “I’ve never been that guy going around boasting, especially about who I’m dating.”
He further explained that the people who are closest to him are the ones that count and they “know everything going on,” while “if other people want to speculate, that’s up to them.”
Before dating Kendall, Chris was linked to Bondi-based project manager Hannah Thomas and also dated Home and Away actress Kassandra Clementi.
