It’s a scary time for Cameron Diaz after reports emerged that the Hollywood star is “spiraling into a paralyzing paranoia” after hearing about fellow celeb Taylor Swift’s latest stalker ordeal.
According to Globe, the 45 year old actress is terrified that a stalker will break into her home, just like an obsessed fan did toTaylor’s New York townhouse.
‘Cameron is terrified the same thing will happen to her – and she’s even hired a 24 hour security guard to keep watch over her L.A mansion,’ a source revealed to Globe.
‘Her house is walled off from the street and impenetrable as it is. She’s become totally paranoid – especially after what happened to Taylor, and Sandra Bullock a few years back.”
Cameron’s paranoia couldn’t come at a worse time. The Charlie’s Angels star is “happily nesting” with husband Benji Madden and the last thing she needs is a stalker to ruin her attempts at starting a family.
‘Ever since Cam began focusing on starting a family she has gotten more and more obsessed with ensuring they remain safe,” continues the insider.
‘She’s putting guards around the house – and insists benji be home whenever he’s not working.”
