Demi Moore and Bruce Willis know the secret to an amicable breakup and have remained friendly since their divorce almost 20 years ago.
This was still the case when the 56-year-old actress divulged the intimacies of their failed relationship in her new memoir Inside Out, as Bruce came out to support her at the book launch party in Los Angeles.

The famously friendly exes posed for photos alongside their daughters, Rumer, Tallulah and Scout Willis, as well as Bruce’s current wife, Emma Heming Willis.
In her memoir, the Indecent Proposal star claims she’s “proud” of how she and her ex-husband handled their divorce in 2007.
“It’s a funny thing to say, but I’m very proud of our divorce,” Demi – who was first married to rocker Freddy Moore – said.
However, she also admitted that the split “wasn’t easy at first, but we managed to move the heart of our relationship, the heart of what created our family, into something new that gave the girls a loving, supportive environment with both parents.”
What’s more, she claimed that they “felt more connected than we did before the divorce.”
According to The New York Times, the Ghost actress wrote that Bruce believed her acting career took her away from their family and allegedly told her he wasn’t sure if he wanted to be married.

Since the split, the A-list exes have remained on good terms.
Demi attended the Die Hard actor’s vow renewal ceremony to Emma Heming Willis in March.
In addition to that, Demi cracked several lighthearted jokes about Bruce at the Comedy Central Roast of Bruce Willis.
“For those of you that don’t know me, I am Demi Moore,” she said on the program.
“I was married to Bruce for the first three Die Hard movies, which makes sense because the last two sucked.”
