Barry Du Bois shares first day back at work with fans

Following the beloved TV star’s cancer battle

He revealed that he was set to return to our screens at the end of the month, following weeks of intensive chemotherapy treatment. But much loved TV star Barry Du Bois has delighted fans by sharing that he is already feeling well enough to start working again.

The 57-year-old The Living Room star shared an Instagram live story from Melbourne, where he is currently covering the Australian Grand Prix for Channel Ten.

TV chef Darren Purchese also shared a picture of himself and Barry at the sports event.

Barry’s fellow The Living Room co host, Miguel Maestre also shared a behind the scenes snap of himself, Dr Chris Brown and Barry filming next week’s episode of the Channel Ten’s lifestyle show.

Last year, Barry informed fans that he had been diagnosed with plasmacytoma myeloma and has been going through extreme treatment to try and beat the disease.

This is the second time the father of two has had cancer, with several tumours returning to his body in 2017. He had previously been in remission for six years.
