Brad Pitt has been at the centre of romance rumours for the past several weeks, leaving Angelina Jolie ‘distraught’, Star magazine has claimed.
The shocking US report spoke to a friend close to the Maleficent star, who reveals the 42-year-old beauty collapsed after hearing the news of her ex-husband’s new alleged flame.
‘Angie has hardly any strength as it is, and the tantrum she thew over Brad’s new woman pusher her over the edge,’ a friend spilled to the publication.
‘She was ranting one minute, and then the next she just sort of crumbled.’
Jolie, who confessed last year she had been suffering from hypertension around the same time things became ‘difficult’ in her marriage, blamed her ‘terrifying collapse’ on her ‘blood pressure’, the insider revealed to Star.
The source also tells Star, ‘Her friends were too scared to tell her it may have been because she’s been starving herself, and that something scary was bound to happen sooner or later.’
Despite several reports claiming Hollywood heartthrob Brad Pitt has fallen ‘head over heels’ for renowned architect and MIT professor Neri Oxman, it’s his ex-flame Jennifer Aniston that remains the 54-year-old’s partner.
Jennifer, also rocked by the alleged news that Brad was smitten with the impressive Neri, was forced to beg Brad to stay with her for the second time.
It’s no surprise that Jen has been hurt by her ex-husband before, and she doesn’t want to be dumped and humiliated again.
‘She’s been hurt so many times over the years – not just by Brad, but by so many men since,’ a source close to the star told New Idea.
But of course, Brad left the deepest wounds by breaking her heart when he took up with Angelina Jolie.
Now that there are rumours flying around about Neri, Jen feels history is repeating itself.
‘And looking at Neri, of course Jen is going to be jealous. She’s crazy smart and can relate to Brad on a whole new intellectual level – plus she’s young and very beautiful.
‘Jen just feels like she’s completely out of Neri’s league, and she’s really down on herself right now,’ the source went on.
Angelina, Brad and Jen have not responded to Star’s claims.
