Victoria and David Beckham may be hoping to be named as Baby Sussex’s godparents, but it seems the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have chosen another Hollywood couple to take on the role.

Shortly after Meghan Markle met Prince Harry, the couple became close friends with actor George Clooney and his wife Amal.
So much so that it is understood the pair could choose the power couple to be godparents to their first born.
“Amal has been a wealth of knowledge on so many things and helped Meghan settle in,” a source told E! News.
“She’s given her advice on celebrity and living in the public eye. They’ve enjoyed sharing stories of travel and humanitarian causes.”
The source continued: “They often bounce ideas off of each other. Meghan goes to Amal for many things and really trusts her instincts. Amal adores Meghan and is thrilled to see her become a mother. They have an understanding and common ground that has really helped Meghan and provided her with support.”
George and Amal attended the royal wedding in May 2018 and in February this year, Amal co-hosted Meghan’s lavish baby shower in New York.
It has been reported that Prince Harry introduced Meghan to the international human rights lawyer and her husband “when he started getting serious with Meghan.”
“The couple quickly started hanging our regularly,” the source adds.
