The brief statement released by Kensington Palace gave little by the way of details, reading: “The Duke of Cambridge will undertake an official visit to Kuwait and Oman at the request of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.

“The visit will take place between Sunday 1st and Wednesday 4th December.

“Further details will be advised in due course.”

The Cambridges next Royal outing will be a big one, as it will be the first time Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will face Kate and William since their controversial ITV documentary.

Remembrance Day is one of the most important days in the Royal Family’s calendar, with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and the Duke and Duchess Cambridge set to meet for the first time in months to attend the Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall in London on Saturday 9 November.
