MEATBALLS: Place turkey, parmesan and garlic in a large bowl. Add breadcrumbs and half the hot sauce (1½ tbsp). Mix until well combined. Roll heaped tablespoons of turkey mixture into balls (makes 20).
Place meatballs on an oven tray lined with baking paper. Spray with olive oil. Cook in a 200°C preheated oven for 15-20 mins, until cooked through.
Combine remaining hot sauce with salsa in a small jug. Transfer hot meatballs to a large bowl. Add half the sauce mixture. Toss to lightly coat.
Make a cut along top of each roll without cutting all the way through. Split rolls open. Spray cut sides with olive oil. Fill each roll with 2 cheese slices and 4-5 meatballs.
Increase oven to 220°C. Place rolls on a clean oven tray, filled side up. Cook for 3-5 mins, or until cheese is melted and rolls are lightly toasted.
To serve, spoon over remaining the sauce mixture and sprinkle with combined tomato, capsicum and onions.
