There’s been no end of surprises on this year’s season of My Kitchen Rules.
And now, it can be revealed that there has been a secret MKR wedding.
Who could it be?
Stacey and Ash? Bianca and Pat? Yeah right!
Nope, it was group one’s Lesley.
The flight attendant secretly wed her long-time partner in a gorgeous backyard wedding earlier this month.
The 50-year-old said she wanted a “non-wedding” after previously being married to a German scientist.
“It was basically my two best girlfriends and another very close girlfriend who also is a singing celebrant,” Lesley says.
“She married us and sung a special song for us. No wedding dress, I’m glad to wear the same dress that I wore for our first date. It’s a silk cream champagne-coloured midi dress, so that’s a memory of our first date.
“There’s a bit of a joke between my fiancé and I that namely he’s never seen me in the same outfit twice.”
Lesley says the newlyweds celebrated their union over a seafood lunch and champagne.
