Meghan Markle has been given a very peculiar nickname in Fiji, with the Duchess being dubbed “our Barbie girl” by fans.
On the Second Day of her Royal Tour of the South Pacific, Meghan and husband Prince Harry were greeted by thousands of adoring fans.
Children held up signs declaring: “We love you Harry and Meghan” and women laughed and smiled as they waved flags at the couple.
But the most notable sign gave Meghan the strange nickname of “our Barbie girl”.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were immersed in Fijian culture on the second day of their visit to the country.
Meghan got hands-on helping to make a traditional breakfast dish before a quick visit to a local market, Harry headed to the Colo-I-Suva Forest Reserve and planted an indigenous Dakua tree.
The duke sported a blue Bula shirt for the occasion, while Meghan donned a pink maxi-dress by Figue.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are due to travel to Tonga on Thursday, October 25, for the latest leg of their South Pacific tour.
Harry and Meghan will first travel from the Fijian capital Suva to Nadi in western Fiji to unveil a statue in honour of Sergeant Talaiasi Labalaba.
