The Duchess of Sussex’s Instagram page was briefly reinstated on Dec. 18, showing the many images left before the royal was forced to delate her presence off the social media platform.
Before meeting Prince Harry, Meghan was an avid and vocal social media user.
The now duchess would post daily musings to both her Instagram page and her own personal blog, The Tig.
Shortly before her engagement to Prince Harry was announced, Meghan farewelled her followers with a heartfelt message.
“Thank you to all the supporters of The Tig!” she began.
“From followers to contributors, you have become friends.
“It is YOU who have made this Tig community so special. And even though I haven’t met most of you, for three years I’ve seen your faces and read your comments and hugged you from afar.”
It’s unclear why the page was suddenly reactivated, especially considering last week a photo of the duchess alongside Givenchy designer Claire Waight Keller and actress Rosamund Pike at the British Fashion Awards was reportedly taken down after speculation it didn’t meet “royal standard.”
The account, which was verified to Meghan Markle, was only active for an hour.
