She’s expecting her first child in a matter of weeks, and pregnant Meghan Markle – now the Duchess of Sussex – showed off just how good she is with kids as she and husband Prince Harry helped a bunch of youngsters make sweet treats.

Meghan and Harry got hands on making maple taffy – a Canadian favourite – as they visited Canada House to attend an event showcasing the best of Canadian talent in the UK.

Meghan happily chatted with youngsters during the occasion.

The duchess was wearing a stunning green outfit by Erdem as she helped to mix the sugary treat together.

Maple taffy is a sugar candy made by boiling maple sap past the point where it would form maple syrup, but not so long that it becomes maple butter or maple sugar.

It is part of traditional culture in parts of Canada.

Despite being around seven months pregnant, Meghan has been showing no sign of slowing down.
