On Tuesday night’s episode of Married At First sight, Mike drops a bombshell which leaves Heidi questioning their future.
As they sit down for a cosy chat, they discuss their future and having kids. All appears to be going well until Mike brings up the dreaded L word.
“How do you know if you’re in love?” muses Mike.
“You just know,” says Heidi matter of factly.
Mike scrunches up her face and as he admits he could “try to fall in love” with her.
Heidi collapses her head into her hands and groans.
“Don’t ever say I can TRY to fall in love with you, don’t say that…” Heidi sighs.
“No one has ever said that in my whole life..” she adds.
Mike looks confused. He thinks he paid her compliment and now doesn’t understand why she’s upset.
“I definitely don’t think you love me,” she sighs again and Mike begins to back peddle furiously.
“Let me start over… I was trying to give you a compliment. I know I’ll fall in love with you and I think I am…” he adds.
But Heidi isn’t impressed. She later tells the camera “I just wanna be with someone who knows!”
Is this the end for the couple?
