Married At First Sight Australia’s first gay groom Craig Roach has slammed Channel Nine, claiming her was left with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and almost lost his job as a result of his experiences filming the social experiment.

Posting an emotional Facebook post, the 42-year-old hairdresser described how he felt ’emotionally raped’ after being matched with TV husband Anthony John, who was accused of being a paid actor.

Craig wrote: ‘I suffered PTSD and it also affected my relationship with family friends and I almost lost my job as a result of it all, I was stupid going on the show and was blindsided by the thought I may actually find love.’

‘They matched me with a chain smoking, binge drinking all round party boy from hell who hadn’t been to the gym or raised his heart rate naturally in 10 years,’ he added.

‘So after months and months of anticipating the meeting of this supposed amazing man I am confronted with the complete opposite and have 6 cameras recording my every reaction.’

He then accused Andy of being a paid actor, claiming that his ex had come into ‘quite a bit of money’ since filming the show and that he had a ‘different relationship with producers’.

Craig added, ‘I didn’t think in my wildest dreams that it would have been this tragic and I was left feeling emotionally raped.’

Channel Nine has declined to comment on Craig’s allegations.
