McDonalds is releasing a late-minute extension to their winter menu which will be available in Macca’s restaurants nationwide from August 7, 2024.
This new introduction to the winter menu means that the Steakhouse Stack and banana-flavoured desserts will be off the menu from August 6, however, you have a lot to look forward to…
As we all know, the Quarter Pounder is an Aussie fan favourite, and for a good reason – however, the popular burger will now be available in four delicious variations with the brand-new Quarter Pounder BBQ Bacon and Crispy Onions, and returning Quarter Pounder Deluxe, as well as signature burgers, Quarter Pounder and Double Quarter Pounder.
Liz Whitbread, Senior Brand Manager for McDonald’s Australia said, “Our winter menu is all about adding a seasonal touch on Macca’s classic flavours – debatably, it doesn’t get more iconic than the Quarter Pounder.
“With fresh twists on one of our most loved burgers, featuring exciting new flavour combinations and quality ingredients, we’re warming up Macca’s winter menu and satisfying those cravings this season.”
The all-new Quarter Pounder BBQ Bacon and Crispy Onions added to the McDonald’s winter menu will withhold all the deliciousness of the iconic Quarter Pounder but with a flavoursome twist! With rasher bacon, crispy onions, barbeque sauce, an Aussie beef pattie plus pickles and cheese, you can’t go wrong.
As for the Quarter Pounder Deluxe, if you managed to get your hands on this scrumptious burger the last time it was available, you’ll understand why it is returning. The Deluxe features crisp lettuce, fresh tomatoes, pickles, an Aussie beef pattie, plus cheese, onions, tangy mustard, ketchup and McChicken sauce. Similar to the McFeast if you remember that fan favourite burger!
Luckily, the Mozzarella Sticks with Sweet Chilli Sauce will continue to be available for the winter season, so you’ll still be able to indulge in that cheesy yumminess!
And of course, if you’re feeling like a classic, the Quarter Pounder and Double Quarter Pounder are available permanently.
