Labelled ‘dinner party terrorists’ Christian home schooled brothers Josh and Austin leave their fellow contestants fuming in the premiere episode of My Kitchen Rules.
Sat at the dinner table the controversial pair decided to let each team know what their first impressions of them were.
Josh described Ruby as a “sassy plastic chick” who bought along team mate Andy “to make her look better”.
The Peruvian girls were left seething with the boy’s brutal comments but their antagonism didn’t stop there.
Josh and Austin went onto say Ibby and Romel looked like a mail order bride couple, leaving the glamorous socialites reeling.
Husband and wife duo Mick and Jodie-Anne also caught the wrath of the pair with Josh saying he thought the couple were made of a lesbian and her gay BFF.
The whole table was none too impressed with their self proclaimed ‘word vomit’ and the boys told New Idea that their honesty did not bode well with their team mates.
“On night one, we’re all sitting in the room around the table making small talk about the weather and I’m like, ‘bloody hell, this is so boring’. And then Romel’s like, ‘Hey, why don’t we give each other our first impressions and no one hold back’.
“And so I was like, you know what? I’m not aiming to be mean but if you ask me my first impressions of what you look like to me without even knowing who you are first, I just said what I was thinking. I wasn’t saying that ‘you are this’ or ‘you are that’, I was saying, ‘This is what you look like. Prove me wrong!”
“Those people man, they did not take it in jest. They held grudges the entire time and attacked us every single night for the majority of the nights after.”
Will the boys continue to stir the pot?
