James Stewart, 48, had plenty of support for his second twirl on Dancing With The Stars, receiving visits from co-stars Emily Weir and Ada Nicodemou.
Emily, who placed runner-up on the 2023 season, surprised Jimmy during rehearsal.
The father-of-one credited his friend for inspiring him to join the competition. When asked for tips, Emily encouraged James to be “vulnerable” on the dance floor.
And he did just that, performing a contemporary routine about a breakup with his dance partner Jorja Freeman.

“Two people are really exhausted from arguing and trying to win the point,” James explained of the dance, adding that the subject matter is something he has “dealt with before”.
“I think a lot of people are going to be able to connect with this.”
Joining the studio audience to watch the 43-year-old perform was another Home and Away star, and James’ rumoured partner, Ada Nicodemou.
Ada, 47, won the third season of the dancing competition in 2005.
After James’ performance, which garnered him a score of 31/40, Ada beamed and applauded proudly.

In the interview that followed, host Sonia Kruger noticed a crack in James’ voice.
“You actually sound quite emotional, because you’re that deep in the character,” she said to the out-of-breath entertainer, who replied “a little bit”.
Sonia continued: “You guys were fighting. Did you leave the toilet seat up? Didn’t pick up his towels? Because that is grounds for divorce, my friend.”
The comments may have hit close to home for James, who recently went through a divorce with his former Home and Away co-star Sarah Roberts, 39.
Sarah confirmed she and James had split in April 2024.

“Sometimes people grow apart and that’s okay,” she told Stellar at the time.
“I got to a point where I realised I couldn’t grow in the way I wanted to within this particular relationship.”
Now, James is reportedly dating Ada.
The pair, who share a screen on Home and Away, were spotted kissing outside a Sydney pub in April.
Since then they have been spotted out and about with James’ daughter Scout on multiple occasions.
