Love is well and truly back in the air for Kate Ritchie, who is enjoying the company of a handsome, and much younger, new man.
Last week, the 45-year-old radio presenter enjoyed a romantic picnic date with Will Skelton, 30, at Clovelly Beach in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs.
Kate and Will, a Sydney-based financial advisor, first met on a blind date at Nova FM’s Singles Ball at Taronga Zoo back in May.
The event was organised by Kate’s radio program, and the single mum selected Will as her date from a choice of three suitors picked out by her matchmaking co-hosts, Michael ‘Wippa’ Wipfli and Ryan ‘Fitzy’ Fitzgerald.
“I’m all about personality and Will’s got it all,” she said at the time.
While onlookers say that Kate appeared to be very smitten with Will during their date, and vice versa, sources suggest that friends are hoping history “doesn’t repeat itself”.
“She’s had a rough time when it comes to her love life – the younger men she’s dated recently never seem to last,” says one source.
Kate’s most recent relationship, with toyboy Chevy Black, ended in late 2023, just nine months after they went Instagram official.
Before that she dated security consultant John Bell, who was 17 years her junior, for less than a year. Kate was previously married to NRL star Stuart Webb and they share daughter, Mae, together.
