A huge congratulations goes to the Queen’s granddaughter Zara Tindall and her husband Mike, who have confirmed they are expecting their second child together.
The couple, who are currently enjoying a working holiday in Australia, announced the news via a spokesperson, who said: “I can confirm Zara is pregnant with her second child.”
The wonderful news comes just over a year since the couple tragically lost a baby just a few short weeks after they had announced they were expecting.
In June last year, former rugby star mike revealed how the couple’s daughter, Mia, three – who famously stole the show in the Queen’s 90th birthday portrait by adorably clutching her great-grandmother’s famous black handbag – and helped him and his wife recover fro the miscarriage.
“We were very lucky to have Mia in terms of what we’ve been through,” he said.
“The biggest thing you have is an outpouring of support and that was the best thing about social media … for a good reason for once, social media was a good thing for once.”
A Buckingham Palace spokesman said of the baby news: “The Queen and members of the royal family were very pleased to hear this news.”
