Princess Mary is planning to jet off solo to the United States in early May.
The Royal Danish Household has announced that Mary will travel to Seattle, Washington from the 3rd to 5th of May for an official visit.
Accompanied by Danish Foreign Minister, Anders Samuelsen, the Princess will undertake a Danish art and cultural advancement trip.
Highlights of the visit will include the opening of a Nordic museum alongside other representatives from Nordic countries.
‘All five Nordic countries have supported and followed the construction of the new museum, and the Crown Princess and the Foreign Minister will, together with representatives from the other Nordic countries, conduct the official opening,’ the Danish Royal Household revealed in a press release.
Mary will be the guest of honour at the launch of the Danish cultural advancement which aims to ‘strengthen Danish art and culture throughout the United States.’
She will also visit the Novo Nordisk Research Centre to debate the topic of women’s empowerment.
