While Meghan Markle’s bridal party has yet to be confirmed, rumours are swirling that non other than Victoria Beckham has bagged herself the role of bridesmaid!
The Suits actress and the British fashion designer have recently struck up a friendship, with Meghan regularly contacting the former Spice Girl for style tips ahead of the wedding.
“They get along well and have been in touch recently. Meghan really likes Victoria’s style and was keen to pick her brains about pulling together a working wardrobe. She loves Victoria’s elegant but smart dresses, so expect her to wear one very soon,” a source told Vanity Fair.
And that she did.
During Meghan’s recent visit to Northern Ireland alongside Prince Harry, the soon to be bride opted to wear the same victoria Beckham cashmere sweater that she wore in her engagement portraits.
Victoria’s odds were originally at 16/1 to be the chosen designer to make Meghan’s wedding dress, but now that Meghan has worn the British designer’s clothes on two occasions, her Labrokes odds are at 4/1 –putting her in the top three, behind Erdem 3/1 and Ralph & Russo 1/3.
And if there was any doubt that Meghan was a fan of Victoria, it was recently revealed that Harry’s fiancée’s favourite lipstick is Charlotte Tilbury’s Matte Revolution lipstick in Very Victoria, named after Victoria.
