A sensational report out of the US today has claimed the Royal Family will ‘stop at nothing’ to keep Meghan Markle away from her embarrassing father Thomas Markle – including BANNING her from his funeral if he were to die.
The National Enquirer has reported that ‘under Queen Elizabeth’s command’, Meghan Markle will not be able to attend Mr Markle’s funeral.
Sources claiming to be close to the 74-year-old former lighting director – who missed his daughter’s May 19 nuptials – said Thomas believes it would be easier for his daughter if he ‘just died.’
Insiders dished that a publicity plan is already in place to politely explain the absence of the actress-turned-Duchess of Sussex from the future event.
‘The plan is to make sure she is placed on an official visit as soon as he dies as an excuse for her non-attendance,’ a source tells the National Enquirer, adding that the royals will announce plans to contribute to the cost of the service and include a donation to charity in his name.
‘This is just the latest heartbreaking chapter of Meghan’s difficult transition into the royal family,’ said the source.
The Royal Family has not responded to the National Enquirer’s report.
