Princess Eugenie and husband Jack Brooksbank have carried out their first public engagement and mother Sarah Ferguson could not be prouder.
The Duchess of York took to Instagram to share her excitement.
“So proud of Andrew, Eugenie and Jack today at the opening of the new Stanmore Building @rnohnhs,” she wrote.
The newlyweds paid a visit to the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in London to open the new Stanmore Building, along with Eugenie’s father, Prince Adrew.
Last year, 28-year-old Eugenie bravely opened up about having undergone surgery at the age of 12 for corrective surgery for scoliosis.
The royal shared an X-ray image of her spine on Instagram for International Scoliosis Awareness Day and thanked the staff at The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital for their incredible support throughout her recovery.
‘I also want to honour the incredible staff at The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital who work tirelessly to save lives and make people better. They made me better and I am delighted to be their patron of the Redevelopment Appeal,’ she revealed.
