Princess Mary has some exciting news!
The 48-year-old was recently announced as the new patron for Copenhagen Zoo.
“Crown Princess Mary has been announced as the successor to the late Prince Henrik as the Royal Patron of Copenhagen Zoo,” a statement from royal central read.

“Prince Henrik had been the patron of the zoo since 1972 until his passing in 2018, but there have been connections between the Danish Royal Family and the Zoo since its inception in 1859,” the statement continued.
Princess Mary, who is known to be a great lover of animals owns several dogs and two years ago welcomed her pet dog Grace after their much loved pet Ziggy passed away.
