Princess Eugenie has shared a rare photo of her best friend Julia de Boinville.
The royal took to Instagram to praise her pal who she met at school and has since gone on to launch a charity, The Anti-Slavery Collective, together.
“Ahead of #internationalwomensday today’s #throwbackthursday is to this week when my co-founder and best friend Jules and I hosted our speaker series called Tech Talks Trafficking… I couldn’t ask for a better partner and what an inspiring woman,” the princess wrote alongside two photos.
A post on the collective’s website reveals: “We met on the bus going on a school trip and we knew that this was just the beginning of a life-long adventure and friendship!”
The pair studied together at the same university in Newcastle, before taking a trip to India in 2012, where they were educated modern slavery, and both became determined to put an end to it.
While Julia was a guest at the 28-year-old’s wedding to Jack Brooksbank in October, she did not take part in the bridal party.
