The Princess of York joined her grandmother Queen Elizabeth II and senior members of the royal family for the most anticipated day in the racing calendar, wearing the ‘Mia’ silk-satin midi dress from London-based designer Cefinn.

Newlywed Eugenie, 29, went without a coat to enjoy the balmy British weather but topped her elegant ensemble with a Bundle-McLaren hat featuring a quirky peacock feather detail, Daily Mail reports.

The daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson accessorised with a snakeskin clutch and classic nude pointed stilettos.

Eugenie – who married her longtime love Jack Brooksbank in a fairytale royal wedding at St George’s Chapel in Windsor last October – looked to be in high spirits as she chatted with her cousin Zara Tindall and cousin-in-law Autumn Phillips.

Lady Gabriella Windsor was also seen laughing with her royal relatives, less than a month after her own royal wedding to financier Thomas Kingston in London.

Eugenie’s big sister Princess Beatrice, 30, was not seen on Ladies Day despite attending Royal Ascot earlier in the week.

But it wasn’t all fun and games for Eugenie who was on hand to carry out a royal duty.

Fergie’s daughter graciously presented a trophy to world renowned jockey Frankie Dettori who won the second race of the day, the Hampton Court Stakes, Town and Country Magazine reports.
