The Prince, who usually seems to be the picture of poise and confidence at big events, revealed a secret about Prince William and Kate Middleton’s wedding, that casts an interesting light on his own big day.

Revealing a newly resurfaced 2012 interview just how nervous he was at the wedding of his brother Prince William, Prince Harry confessed the event left him very anxious. According to a 2012 chat with US journalist and TV personality Katie Couric, the Prince was on edge the whole time – when most eyes were fixed on the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

‘I was massively nervous,’ Harry told US interviewer Katie Couric, before revealing his brother and sister-in-law felt the same. ‘Everyone was nervous.

‘The whole thing was a bit of blur to be honest.

‘There was god know how many billions of eyes on us, luckily many on those two.’

When he wed in 2018, Harry claimed to not be nervous, telling onlookers he was feeling ‘great’.

But body language experts say he was showing signs of nerves, with Judi James telling Harper’s Bazaar the royal was ‘understandably nervous and emotional’, while the Duchess of Sussex maintained her Hollywood cool.

Veteran Prince Charles also appeared to be relaxed on the big day, despite half of London turning out for the royal wedding.
