Peter Stefanovic and Sylvia Jeffreys wed in an intimate ceremony in the hills of Kangaroo Valley last year, and it appears the couple are preparing to start a family.
Stefanovic, 36, and Sylvia, 31, revealed they have discussed welcoming a baby.
Speaking to news.com.au, Pete revealed having children was definitely in the couple’s future, adding: ‘It’s something we both want to do.’
‘It’s something we both want to do. I feel I’d be missing out if we didn’t have a kid, but we’re both pretty busy with our work at the moment.’
Pete added, ‘We’re not in any rush.’
‘Maybe in the next couple of years. We have had discussions about it.’
Following their nuptials, Jeffreys decided she would keep her last name, but when it comes to their children Pete says: ‘When we do have kids, they’ll be Stefanovics.’
Sylvia has also previously opened up about starting a family with hubby Pete.
In an interview with Australian Women’s Weekly, the TV personality said she was looking forward to having children.
‘Sadly, it’s not happening in the immediate future,’ she spilled in the interview.
‘We’re not in a rush to get there. Life is good and we are only seven months married, so we are looking to enjoy our time as much as we can.’
She added: ‘We’re also very understanding of the fact that things don’t go to plan for everyone… so we look forward to that time in our lives and we’ll be excited when it happens.’
