My Kitchen Rules contestant Sonya has denied she got into a physical altercation off-camera with rival teams.
Speaking to Kyle & Jackie O, Sonya denied that there was any physical incidents with other teams.
‘There was nothing that happened off air that was physical,’ she told the co-hosts. ‘No one bashed anyone.’
Kyle also added that he had heard a rumour claiming some teams ‘spat on’ others during the altercation.
‘That’s not something that I would ever do,’ Sonya replied. ‘I can assure you that I never spat on anyone at all.’
During the interview, fellow MKR contestants Jess and Emma were called, and they confirmed things did get physical off camera.
Kyle prodded Sonya, ‘Who was involved in the physical thing?’
‘Look, I think Hadil’s the one to answer that,’ Sonya said about her teammate.
Jackie again asked if something physical happened, which Sonya strategically replied.
‘I can tell you that I was not physical.’
Hadil is yet to respond to these claims.
